Who exactly is Nardo Polo?

So...who exactly is Nardo Polo? I've googled him and found some obscure references to his being the greatest marble player or something, but I haven't found any sites that directly talk about him, so I assume he isn't a real person.
However, I read on the Xbox forums that Nardo Polo is from GarageGames and plays MBU against people online. Can I venture to guess that Nardo Polo is Mark Frohnmayer?

He works for GarageGames and actually plays the game pretty well. In Marble Blast Gold for the XBOX he is ranked in the top 5, and in Marble Blast Ultra he doesnt play Single Player, but he is very good at Multiplayer. In fact GarageGames gave out T-Shirts one night to anyone that could defeat Nardo Polo in Multiplayer.

Here is a link to a webpage that discusses this band and the CD:

On at least two other songs on the CD there are references to either Nardo or Mr. Polo.

The Nardo Polo reference above is to the song "Spaz Attack" by a band called 2NU. The CD named "Ponderous" came out in 1989 by Atlantic. This CD features 'songs' are presented as stories if you like that type of thing it can be fun to listen to.Here is a link to a webpage that discusses this band and the CD:

But on this most auspicious of nights, permit me then, in lieu of the more commonplace soubriquet, to suggest the character of this dramatis persona. Voila! In view humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the “vox populi” now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation stands
vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it’s my very good honour to meet you and you may call me V.
