Featured Projects

What do you think of the idea of having a featured Project every week? Notify the project members that they will be featured a week or two in advance so they can spiffy up their project page and then have a link to the right in Community or What's New that'll take you to their project page. It could help to highlight some of the projects that are further along in development and help to generate excitement.

We have been planning on featured products as well as featured developers. We can have a summary of them here, plus add them as news, resource and feature, so they are more.Jeff Tunnell GG

I like this idea alot. Its hard to tell what the good projects are here ... many look like a bunch of **** to me. Interviews/screen shots/etc. would help. One a week or something would be cool if gg has the resources to do it.

Jeff, Rick and I all like the idea, but resources are an issue. Putting in the PHP code will be easy (if any is needed), but we'll need help researching the projects and writing up the interviews.

I am willing to help with researching the projects and writing them up. It would be best if we got a few more people doing it also though b/c the time I can devote to stuff like this has a tendency to vary wildly (I have been enjoying a very laid back, long installs, training this week =)
