Early Adaptor Release - Pay Again?

by Michael Becerra · in Torque Game Engine · 02/09/2006 (11:04 am) · 6 replies

I just bought the early adaptor release of the Torque Game Engine. When the "retail" version comes out, will i have to pay again to upgrade to the full version?

I'm assuming you mean TSE or T2D since TGE is not in EA. But, no. You will not have to pay again for the non-EA version.

You will have to pay from the next major upgrade, however.

From the TGE product page.

Quote:TGE 1.4 is the last free upgrade in the Torque Game Engine line.

The next sentence reads, "If you're looking for an upgrade beyond TGE, you should check out the Torque Shader Engine." So... TGE is reaching the point where not many more features can be tweaked out, see TSE for future technology upgrades...

Seams pretty clear to me. I am ok with that. That is why I bought TSE as well and at that price, thank you Garagegames, why not!

Well i meant Torque 2D. Sorry wrong forum. For some reason the Torque 2D private forum isn't being listed although i can access it from the product page.
