Quick Question

Ok I feel like a newbie asking this question, but until this project it's never been an issue. I'm going to use the RTS kit to make a RPG style game as I've stated in a blog. It's gonna be Neverwinter Nights'ish with some grouping and partying like Baldur's Gate. WIth the object selection, and several other features in the RTS kit I've decided to use it instead of base Torque. But I have a question.

How well does the RTS kit handle .difs? Can a player still enter the interiors and the camera cut inside to it? Or am I'm going to have to hack at it some to make it work right?

I've had the kit since it came out and I love it. I was doing an RTS but me and my guys decided to do the RPG first since the bigger majority of us enjoyed RPGS more than RTS games (I'm not a hater though, I love both equally ;)).

Thanks guys and if this has been asked before and I missed in the search, please forgive me :)

There have been some discussions covering this, but after searching for them I find they are scattered about here and there.

As for a quick answer to your question, no, the RTS pack does not handle what you are wanting to do. Unless things have changed a lot since the last time I looked at the code, the RTS units have no collision, with anything.

Check this thread, it might give you some ideas...
