What happened to the KrabbitWorld team?

Did they leave the community? I was just thinking today that it was odd that I hadn't seen any updates from them since the fall and it seems that all past updates have been removed. Anybody know what they've been up to?

Sorry to hear that.

If I remember correctly, a couple of months ago a snapshot of the day caused a minor uproar and a couple of the KrabbitWorld developers exchanged a few flames with a few others in the community. That was the last I heard from Teri Thom and the other KWL people. Now I see that their side of the posts seem to be gone and Teri's profile page is missing as well. Weird. I don't know if there were other conflicts going on though.

Heh, I need to start typing faster, Aaron summed up my assumption before I posted it. Thanks for the link Louis.

I didn't really get to follow what went on that day, by the time I saw it the dust had settled. Oh well, too bad they felt they had to leave.Heh, I need to start typing faster, Aaron summed up my assumption before I posted it. Thanks for the link Louis.

Actually, I was reading your mind, browsing for the link, AND typing faster.
;)
@Allyn
I agree, I always enjoyed Teri's updates. In situations like this, everybody loses.

I checked out their site, it seems like their still on track and there's a new demo scheduled for the end of this month.

Says they "choose to no longer be associated with GarageGames", guess that means they switched engines?

I think they're still using Torque. I havn't heard anything about them changing engines. They're just not posting on the forums here anymore.

I hope they warm up and come back. I think someone was just having a bad day and posted
some bad stuff and it blew up.
I'll admit I was part of the frenzy but i'll defend GG and comm like a pit pull trying to chase a pork chop.

It's the guy that got into it with the community and GG. Not Teri.I hope they warm up and come back. I think someone was just having a bad day and posted

I remember that day... it was pretty bad. Hate to see them leave that way though.

I was just about to post the same question - it's been a while since I'd seen an update and I wondered what had been happening.
