Educational vs Commercial License?

Hi everyone.
I was just wondering if there were any major differences between the eduational license when compared to the regular commercial TGE license? I'm sure there must be some limitations, but as I have made 3 attempts to email education@garagegames.com with no response I figured I would try here as well.
Thank you in advance for any responses.

Functionally there is no difference between Commercial, "indie," and educational licenses. All three include full source code, world editors, tools ect. The real difference is in the EULA, which is what your Torque license can be used for legally. Addtionally, each of licenses are priced differently.
"Indie licenses" can be used only by individuals, earning under $250,000, to make "Games for entertainment.' Note: This is different from educational games, simulations, serious games, VR projects, machinima projects ect. If an 'indie' grows beyond the $250k mark they must upgrade their licenses to commercial. Also, schools DO NOT qualify for 'indie' pricing, as they are large institutions. If a school has not arraigned an "educational" or "research" license with us, they must purchase "commercial" licenses.
"Commercial licenses" can be used by anyone for commercial games/projects, educational games, simulations, serious games, VR projects, machinima or schools that do not have an "educational" and/or "research" license. Commercial licenses allow for unlimited distribution, royalty free, with no further obligation to GarageGames (GG). Commercial licenses are the ONLY licenses other than "research licenses" that can use Torque for educational games, simulations, serious games, VR projects, machinima projects ect with our prior permission directly from GG.
"Educational licenses" are for schools, technical colleges, universities ect. Interested in using Torque for TEACHING game design/animation/game art ect. For more information on educational licenses contact me directly daveyjatgaragegames.com
Under some circumstances we issue "Research Licenses" for companies, schools, individuals or institutions using Torque on not-for-profit research. "Research Licenses" are for projects that do not fall into one of the above categories. For more information on 'research licenses" please contact me directly daveyjatgaragegames.com
