Free Tools that fall under the GNU License

Hi all,
I'm currently a TGE owner with a small budget so I'm trying to stick to mostly free/cheap programs. But I just wanted to make sure that I'm understanding the GNU General Public License correctly. The program I'm looking at using is called Audacity and it uses the GNU license which states, "Activities other than copying, distribution and modification are not
covered by this License; they are outside its scope. The act of
running the Program is not restricted, and the output from the Program
is covered only if its contents constitute a work based on the
Program (independent of having been made by running the Program).
Whether that is true depends on what the Program does."
And by the way I was thinking of using Audacity to make my sound files for my game. With that in mind the question I have is can I make my sound files with Audacity and have them in my game or would it be a violation of the GNU Public License to make my sound files with Audacity and sell them because I'd be selling my game thus selling the sound files with it of course.
Anyone else who may have read the GNU General Public License with aduacity or anyother program which falls under the GNU General Public License please respond.

Wow!! Thanks so much for the fast fast reponse David. That's what I figured but I just wanted to make sure I was staying legal.
