IGDA chapter meeting in Hamburg / Germany

I just wanted to give a quick impression of the second local IGDA chapter meeting in 2005 which happened last thursday in Hamburg / Germany. Although the chapter is very young it is constantly growing. There have been around 50 people attending this time.
The first speaker was Dag Frommhold from Trinigy presenting their actual 5.0 release of their Vision Engine. The second speaker, Christian von Duisburg from Snapdragon Games, presented an early playable version of their upcoming funshooter "Flugratten" (Pigeon Killer). If you want to see some photos click here. Overall it was a very nice evening with lots of cool stuff and beautiful eye candy, nice talks and friendly people.
