Hi,
Is anyone having any issues getting models made in 3DS version 8 into Torque. We are about to purchase 3DS and want to make sure there are no major problems getting the models into Torque.
Thanks,
Dana

This should be the one you're using, found in the Using Torque / Artists section. While recently interning here at Garage Games, I've had to re-export a model for a project at least 20 times in about 2 days to update all the tweaks (emails told me what to tweak, I'd tweak, re export, and send again). I have yet to have one problem whatsoever with the current build of the exporter, nore should you. Any future problems are more than likely due to faulty hiearchy setups in Max (as Torque has a bit of specifics on names and parents that you'll have to pick up on). I think you'll thuroughly enjoy Max 8 and the Torque Engine. If you need any quick tips or assistance in the future feel free to email me (found in my profile) and I'll try to answer as soon as possible with a solution.
