Is there a decent doc in T2D package ?
Or is it like TGE ?

The reference doc is quite handy, but it deals with T2Ds specific functions. It doesn't cover the use of Torque Script.

A decent doc: it has no nudity and very few swear words.

Actually, T2D is an "early adopter" release right now which means it has less documentation than TGE. It is expected that both TGE and T2D will gain better docs when the TDN (Torque Developer Network) goes live at some point.

Here is a view of my T2D docs folder which includes PDFs that ship with it, plus some stuff that I downloaded and accumulated.

lol Wow. You guys better get cracking on your instruction manuals. They must suck. I don't know this for a fact but from what I've been hearing TGE sounds like a difficult, unorganized mess. But I've heard nothing but good things from T2D. Ease of use, power, features, and documentation are all great I hear, so you guys must be doing something right this time around. I hope these things are incorporated into TSE as much as possible in the future.

1. Have you actually looked at the TGE documentation? What exactly were you expecting? Information on the art pipeline is something I definitely want to see more of, but in terms of programming, the documentation is rather nice. Plus, the resources have even more goodies. The Essential Guide to Torque is also an extremely good reference. But from your comment, I don't know how closely you've actually looked at the resources and documentation available.

2. T2D has a nice series of getting started documents and there are invaluable resources available.

Love you, too, Ajari and Ed. :)

Some good news coming later today, which I think should excite all who care about Torque's docs.
