Yeah I wrote the guy asking him if I could stop by. I have no idea of what I would be doing there as I have not attended college really. I don't want to be the ignorant kid in the back of the room saying wow. How did you do that? I hope he lets me attend so I can get some knowledge some where :)By the way thanks for replying.

One of the things we are hoping to do as we expand in the educational field is to provide a leader board listing of schools teaching Torque. We are also working with partners to have a place for students to post demo's and protfolio pieces online. If all goes well we should be at both ends of the college experiance: finding and school and finding a job.

Man I miss working in the game industry. I wish I could make the money I do now and still work in the game industry.

Of course full-time gaming colleges are mucho pricey, but they look they have pretty good info for applying for financial aid.

Well your question is pretty old now, and I don't know whether you were open to going to gaming school full time, but the GuildHall at SMU (in Dallas, I believe) looks like it has a pretty good program and I saw that some of their student demos are made with Torque. http://guildhall.smu.edu/info/index.phpOf course full-time gaming colleges are mucho pricey, but they look they have pretty good info for applying for financial aid.

Yeah now I have no loot and no time. My gaming hobby is now the back most burner with two jobs and a family.

@ Donald-- You might consider attending one of our 3-day intensive "Boot Camps." We usually host an "indie' boot camp as part of Indie Games Con which is more geared towards hobbyist game designers. For more information click on boot camps
