Another request for pipeline

For now the new map2dif_plus.exe can load Quake maps, so I'm wondering if the pipeline will support importing the Quake maps files in the near future? Thanks.

.\Map2CSM.cpp @ 428
Unexpected token looking for next entity at line 797!
[EDIT] I've converted this map file into a DIF using map2dif_plus without problems except for the
lights seems not work yet.

I'm not finding q3dm1sample.map in my Quake 3 install. Could you point me at the location to get that particular map file?

www.3dgamers.com/games/quake3arena/downloads/
and I install the q3toolsetup_dec221999.exe map editing tools.
BTW Do I need to put the textures with the map file?

Forgot to mention about the map file itself, sorry about that. It's from the Q3 Arena demo downloaded from the 3dgamers.com, the url is:www.3dgamers.com/games/quake3arena/downloads/
and I install the q3toolsetup_dec221999.exe map editing tools.
BTW Do I need to put the textures with the map file?

I don't think your error is related to the textures, but your textures should be somewhere within one of the Cshop/textures folders when you launch Cshop. If not the default textures are assigned.

Ok i took a quick look at the map and it seems that it's the curved surfaces. I guess my test map didn't include any and i overlooked it. I suppose that map2dif_plus just skips them as there is no real equivalent (short of DTS shapes) in Torque.

So will you fix this problem by skip them just like map2dif_plus does and maybe report the error in the meantime right?

Well it will just skip them at least. I could maybe add a warning on exit with details of what was skipped over.

Ok, looking forward to it and the importer is a awesome idea really.

So, cant use curved surfaces/patches then?

Nope... Torque has never supported Q3 curved surfaces for DIF interiors.
