Independent courses & TGE

I'm thinking of making and independent ( not related to a university ) course using the TGE.

What are the issues I must observe regarding the agreement ?

May I use TGE Demos to teach Tscript and the overall torque architecture or must I purchase licenses to do so ? If so, to whom those licenses would belong ? My company or the students ?

Also, are the exporters covered by the license ? Can I teach someone how to export something from 3DSMax to Torque or would that be a breach on the documentation NDA ?

Use 3d game programming all in one as your text book and make the student purchase it as a prerequisite and you'll have all the material and licenses you'll need

Joshua,

Thanks for the answer but some questions still remain :

1) As an associate, are you allowed to give me such an answer ? Sorry for that question, but regarding NDAs and such, I need something that I could print and show someone else as "he TOLD me it was OK"...

2) Since I'm in Brazil, purchasing 3DGPAI1 ( which I have ) isn't the answer for all my problems. It doesn't handle Max exports, and it's in english ( I have no problem with that, but my students may ).

BTW, who is responsible for educational issues in GG ?

That would be me! And I'm thinking over what you are considering, and will have an email to you by early next week once I throw some ideas around here at the office!

Thanks Stephen,

Please do contact me next week.

My Idea is to put something like 10-15 guys inside a lab in a course named "independent game programming with Torque".
