I have to agree with stephen here. I personally like the new site but just posting that the site is not useful isn't of help to anyone.

To me the new site looks a lot better and it is very well organized compared to the old site. The only thing missing is the lack of useful content on the community main page. I miss the active forum discussions panel and snapshot of the day so I can read up on what is going on in the community. Now it's more of a bulletin board than anything else which is boring, the community section that is. I really did like the panel with all the latest things going on on the right hand side like it was is my point. It just feels empty without it! :)

P.S. I like the new site greatly.

As I understand it the new website has nothing to do with TDN.Quote:With so many docs, it seemed a much better idea to simply dedicate a whole website to them, rather than try to keep them "inside" the www.GarageGames.com container. And that's what TDN is all about - making a home for all the docs... TDN is going to take a little while to get fully going.(from Ben Garney's plan)
P.S. I like the new site greatly.

At last - a search with solid results! (C; (I'm really just poking fun at you guys... really). =P
In all seriousness though, I too miss the personalized links and can't wait for a similar feature on the new site.
Those were the shiznit for locating tuts and resources while working with specific aspects of the engine.

The improved search features well outweigh any inconvenience I've experienced in familiarizing myself with the new site.At last - a search with solid results! (C; (I'm really just poking fun at you guys... really). =P

"TDN" is a full out wiki that is currently being developed. It is not publically available, so the link on the left side nav bar simply points to the "old" documentation. The infrastructure is currently being developed, along with base content, and then it will be opened to the Associates for data population. Once we have a good basis, it will become open to the general community.

Why isn't it useful to you? What specifically do you not like? What did you used to do that you can no longer do?
