Exiting Orbz Problem

Whenever I exit Orbz, this message always pops up before I exit...
"The instruction at "0x7c80979d" refrenced memory at "0x001d3710". The memory could not be "written". Click Ok to terminate the program."
Usually this screen just stays there with that error message and I have to turn off the computer and on again. So what I usually do is at the main Orbz screen, I go back to the desktop with Orbz still open, use ctrl + alt + delete and close Orbz from there. It works, but it's annoying. Also, I don't really know what the error message means, so could someone please help me?

This has been reported a couple times in the past and a video driver upgrade has always corrected the problem. Try checking the web for newer drivers for your video card - that just might do the trick (and give you potentially a better frame rate in game as well).

added Microsofts registry hive cleaner, re-installed latest active X, and so on ! The only thing I have not finished checking into is adding a termination command for orbz on my PC ?
Was reading up on it at Microsoft, Starting and Terminating Windows Based Applications - article # 105676; How To Terminate an Application "Cleanly" in Windows 32 ~ The 16 bit (under Win32) - article # 178893; How To Use VDMDBG Functions on Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP ~ Terminating 16 bit tasks - article # 182559; and I read article # 150777. Am I barking up the wrong tree (lol) or could this be a problem caused by having NT on my PC ?

I often get crashes under OS X (10.2.8) on exit as well. The oddness of the screen behavior (including purple flashes often) is the same as when it crashes when sometimes trying to enter an occupied server (but not an empty one) or loading a level while already playing. IIRC, this started (or was much worse) starting with the server change a while back, which I thought was odd but, also (IIRC), others started commenting on crashes around the same time.

To this end I have reset the on/off button on my PC to shutdown my computer in the same way as if I used the 'turn off my computer' on the start menu ~ before I did this my only choice was to shut it down cold, like killing the power.
Help!!!
