Modeling

Are any resorces or code sniplits out thir that will allow you to make like a rpg armor , helment, boots and so on that you can mount in a slot and would show up on the character model itself?
Im just interested in how to change the look of a model and a way to mount another model onto the player model to change the way it looks.
Thanks

I think that you probably didn't get much of a response here because this is by nature exactly what mounting objects does. There are many examples and even a resource or two available to show the many capabilities of mounting objects to other objects, so you may want to search the forums more carefully to find what you are looking for.

Thanks for the reply. one reasion i didint know what to look for is becouse i wasint sure if you would need to chop the player character up into peaces and make diffrent models for body , legs, so on. One idea i have is makeing a game where you can upgrade body parts as well as putting on other equipment, not sure tho, just trying to come up with some ideas that hasint already been done. Anyway thanks for the tip. Im already on it :)

I'd love to hear your progress as things go along, and I'm sure a lot of others would as well! I don't think it's something that has really been implemented in TGE to it's fullest extent yet to be honest.

Your description is actually probably the best way to go in the long run for a fully functional "wear anything" type of model to be honest. It's probably possible to hit a middle ground solution using the "mount any object to any object" code, and creating a lot of mount "wear points" on your models, and then having some logic to make sure only the right objects get mounted, but this could cause some difficulty in synchronizing good looking models I would expect.I'd love to hear your progress as things go along, and I'm sure a lot of others would as well!
