OpenXDK is an Open Source, Free, Legal Xbox Development Kit. OpenXDK is being developed to facilitate hobbyist and "homebrew" coding for the Microsoft XBox.
Hope this helps some people ^_^

There's a clear, legal path to XBox games right here, and it sounds like GG is champing at the bit to produce some games for it. You just have to make a game worthy enough.

It has to be run on a modified XBox.There's a clear, legal path to XBox games right here, and it sounds like GG is champing at the bit to produce some games for it. You just have to make a game worthy enough.

Oh, and yes...MAKE MORE GAMES! We keep chanting it...21-6 did this in the last GID. That was one day(ish)! We've got games in the works, games on the back burner, games on the steps outside, games in the trash, we have games everywhere at GG. GarageGames was not started to just make games of our own. We want to make games, hell yes, but if that was all we wanted to do, we wouldn't have done all of this. MAKE GAMES!

This is all well and good, and I applaud the effort. There is one problem: any work you put in on OpenXDK will not be much good at all if you ever get (legally) on an Xbox. You will have to link with different libraries, etc. Consoles are pretty much closed-system. It's just something that we have to deal with. It is a heavy price to pay for the stability and the audience of the console market.Oh, and yes...MAKE MORE GAMES! We keep chanting it...21-6 did this in the last GID. That was one day(ish)!
