Hi guys! Sam again. Just wondering if there is an update for Marble Blast Gold. I have version 1.4.1. Thanks!

It should be noted that that version does not add any new features or levels. It was only some compatibility things that Apple insisted on.

There is no update. There are no changes for PC users.

The 1.5 version is the promotional version for the Apple Bundle. There are not any significant changes or bug fixes from 1.4.1. Chevy, you will have to get the latest version that shockwave provides for download. They have a different registration system than we do.

That's just one of many stuffs that ships with the iBook G4. The thing is, I do own a iBook G4, but I surley didn't got Marble Blast Gold 1.5.2 (!) when I bought it. It would be really nice to have a new version fixing all the bugs.

This is really unfair, found this little sentence in a review from www.applelegal.com at an iBook G4review:Quote:Marble Blast Gold 1.5.2

As far as I know, the version of MB for the iBook is the same as the one for iMac - 1.5.0. Mark can probably correct me if I'm wrong.

Is the Message of the Day where you put available new version?

My iBook G4 (bought December 2004) came with 1.5.2, but my newer iMac G5 (Ambient Light) came with 1.5.3, but a friend has an original iMac G5 and that came with 1.5.0 or something. I know at least one difference, the later two have a different keyboard shortcut to the earliest for accessing the console! I wonder what the latest version is, what the full differences are, and if it is available to all?Is the Message of the Day where you put available new version?

Try running it with emmulation software included. That software is called Rosetta.

How do I do that?

Bottom line: MBG should play.

Well, I just check the site(Apple) and it looks like Rosetta runs automatic. Rosetta is suppose to run applications that are not 'uniiversal'(run on both Power PC and Intel chips). I was thinking Rosetta was like the Classic program that the user had to start 1st from system preferences.Bottom line: MBG should play.

the bad thing about this is the update patched the level editor
Torque Owner Bob
There is a new version that is only on the new G5 imacs.
