Coordinate Matrix??? Wheres the root node

Hi am kinda new to torque, am messing with a turn based game right now and I am adding new code that generates a new game grid based on the built in coordinate system.

What I need to know though and am messing through the sdk for days now is where I have the root node ie. the implemetation of the coordinate system in the engine (what files/line).

If any of you have any tip how I can implement this best, I'd be gratefull.
