Hello there folks, does anyone know where Chris cole is/went?
I noticed that his last login on garagegames was some MONTHS ago.

Chris Cole took a day job at a game studio called TKO in Santa Cruz. We are in the process of finalizing the details of taking over support for the engine.

Joe,

Any update on this? I'm new to the forum and RE but I just noticed that MonsterStudios' domain was already pillaged and held ransom for $888. :( Thanks.

Whats the irc channel name? used to be #reactionengine

also, Tom/Joe need any help let me know. I helped Chris beta, fix some bugs and provide support when RE was first launched.

Ron,

Yes, help is good. We are so slammed with work that we still don't know exactly what (or when) we will be able to develop a plan for the RE. We are not going to let it die.

We would like to see the RE users suggest some ways that they would like to organize, what would be the best way to do it.. and give feedback on the future of it. Note that this is not the current #1 priority item on our list.. so we won't be doing anything immediately.

Hi,

Any update on what's happening with support? It's been months since there have been any posts on thes forums. Is there somewhere else that this is happening?

Cheers.

It's obvious to me that Reaction Engine is dead and good as long as GarageGames is concerned. Let's face it, with T2D out of the door, even as a work in progress, nobody will take over RE. Not Bravetree, and not GG for sure.

Damn, I loved this little engine, but there is no alternative but move on to something else.
