The 2nd Edition is out now and I was wondering what the changes are between the 1st edition and the 2nd edition. An is it worth the money to get a new copy?

Torque specific: "3D Game Programming All in One"
Other: "Game Programming All in One"
Don't get them confused...

My book says "3D" at the start of the title. There are currently no plans for a 2nd edition of that book. That doesn't mean it won't happen, though. In the meanwhile, there are other cool books in the works.
The other book - "Game Programming All in One, Second Edition" by Jonathan Harbour, is a re-write of the 1st Edition of that same title. I haven't read it, but knowing something about Jonathan, I think it's a worthwhile book, and certainly a big improvement over the 1st Edition.

In fact, many of the Premier Press Game Dev series books look alike. Both the original (green/black covers) and the newer (mostly black covers).Make's 'em easier to pick out on the shelves....
