Geme Developer Radiosity Article

Just got my latest version of GD and noticed a radiosity article by a one Mr. Brian Ramage. Great work!

I'd kind of like to support it in TSE, the problem is that it requires pixel shader 2.0 support and access to 16 bit render targets.

I dont think that would be a problem, even the budget FX cards have PS 2.0 (fx5200 and above) and they cost only

Our target low-end system is a GeForce 3. And the software processor is so much easier to debug and port...

Can't you do 128-bit datatypes in 2.0 shaders? Or am I on crack again?

It seems like a significant portion of TSE developers amazingly have 1.1 shader cards though. So they'd have to upgrade just to light their interiors. Or I'd have to also implement a software version. Which I might do, not sure till I get there.
