Hey! Heres basic stuff for the game Im creating.

After the war, president _____ makes a an army within an army the CFAC (complete foriegn assoiaction corps) here elites from the army, marines, and navy go here. Now is a time of war against those of aliens attacking our bunkers, homes, and lifestyles.

This game is a RTS/FPS generally, So at any given point you may switch modes.

I wanted something original so there are no buildings you can make just straight all out war. Wiz's are beginning people who hacks into locked mainframes to radio in more troops. Mostly the maps are forts locked down to protect the people inside from the aliens.

There is a meter detailing how many units you can send, it goes down after.

Troops level establishing more types of troops you can pick ranging from a pilot to a seal. A troop may level by exploration or kills.

Yes, vehicles are in

Solo or squad based tactics depending on how many units you pick.

There is a group called eginneers that can go into junkyards building scrap vehicles. To control this there is a "junk count" meaning if I have a 20 junk count and tanks are 10 to build I can only build 2.

Hopefully I can implement seperate weapons for units then one. In RTS mode I hope I can switch them.
Such as if I needed seals to put a claymore a boat, Well.........BOOM!

There is much much more but I was scared to put more on because might steal my idea.
Plus im 13 do you think im going way over my head? Does this seem to cost alot of money to create?

Critism will be thanked.
Thanks.

Sounds good. Just get started on it, but don't commit yourself. Once you get a feel for how long it will take, then decide if you really want to complete it.

Well, it all sounds good on paper anyway...

About not being able to make buildings... uummm, I like the idea of keeping it simple and "all out war", but I think it would be fun if you could build some buildings, like a barracks, at least.

If you don't want to construct buildings but want to have some, you could make it so that you acquire little bases that are already built. You could just find them sitting there and then do something to them to make them yours (in Warcraft, you just touch them; in Warlords Battlecry, you have your hero wave his flag around and claim mines; in Command & Conquer, engineers can take over damaged buildings).

Having buildings might not make much sense if you're inside a fort though. I think you're idea is pretty good without buildings - in fact, it seems like not having buildings was the main point of your idea.

Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. People around here aren't like that (I had an account for a few years before I started this new one to change my user name).

You need to tell people (especially the people who eventually work on your game) your ideas so that you can get feedback. Type everything out in an organized fashion and put it on your website (if you don't have a website, you should probably get one - even a free one). Then post a link to it.

Although the website is a good start, it lacks a lot of detail. For example, flash grenades. What color does it turn the screen and for how long? Does it blur everything or make everything black/white? When the blurring/color effects are finishing, do the effects just stop, or do they gradually get better and better until you're normal again. I'd be glad to help you get this kind of detail. Email me at videodragon20032003@yahoo.com to talk it out with me.
