It wont work!

Hi ther I just downloaded the Torque Release_1_2_2 and something went wrong.
I have the Visual C++ 2003 toolkit so I went int the vc7 file and selected the VC7.cc compiling file and then clicked yes to confirm adding the stuff to my directory. Then nothing happened. I mean it said that it had been added but I could not open any files. Then I tried using the open with command and tried a number of things including the VC++ toolkit command line prompt then it says that it is invalid Win32 application.
I was really excited about this torque engine and it really sucks that it doesn't work because there is no refund.
Please help
I would be eternally grateful!
Thank you for your time!

Worked out of the box on VS.NET 2003 (VC++ 7.1) Enterprise Developer edition. Had it downloaded and compiled (debug and release builds) in under 20 minutes.Rich
