Contests!

by AzraelK · in Torque Game Engine · 10/02/2001 (10:16 am) · 5 replies

I just thought of a great way to give a boost to the v12 er,I mean Torque community, contests! each month we can have a contest for several areas, like best effects, best script for this.. water, raindrops, etc. the catch would be that the code will have to be submitted in order to create a large library to download from. =)

Prices may range from simple awards in a webpage to Video cards or even complete work stations! =))

So what do you think about this idea?

If you get the garagegames people some videocards and some workstations (lol), I'm sure they'll be willing to set up some contests.... if not, keep on dreaming....

We can at least have unofficial things to keep up interest in toying with the engine. The early prizes can be a big community pat on the back until their games are finished.

It is funny to me how our society works.

How about this instead? We do exactly what you said, except the reward is having your name mentioned in the Engine Credits.
