Do I need the engine to map for Torque? Or can I make a map w/o having the engine?
Thanks! hopefully it's the last stupid question I'll place.

Another one (sorry): Is it possible to build a mission where I switch between my player and the car? Probably thru triggers...
Thanks for the patience...

The short answer is yes. The long answer is get this book , it will answer all of your questions. The last half of the book is a scripted demo which has, among other things, the player switching between FPS and vehicles.

No...Epic is very protective of UnrealEd and will not allow it to be used for a non-Unreal Engine game.

All big-time players are really (up)tight about how us industry-midgets use their middle-ware, even Hammer have a very restrictive licens.

Well, free and free ... you could always download a binary copy of the engine if you promise not to use it for anything that is either game or commercial ...All big-time players are really (up)tight about how us industry-midgets use their middle-ware, even Hammer have a very restrictive licens.
