I just wanted to say thanks to GarageGames for VASTLY improving the documentation and organizing it in a clean and clear manner. I just stumbled upon the SDK page again, and I am impressed.

I would also like to thank them for the new and improved documentation (well, it isnt that new) I would also like to thank them for being awesome. No other company provides such an amazing engine with such incredible support and a great community. Thanks for everything GG!

People tend to just assume things will continue as they are. GG doesn't have to keep giving us, in effect, free unlimited support. They could just as easily start charging for that. Or up the price of Torque to compensate.
So, thank you, GarageGames. :) And not just GG, but those who work at other companies (or not at all) and hang out here, helping everybody out.

I have to agree. These guys probably hear a million complaints but almost never hear any "Thank Yous" or "Great jobs!"People tend to just assume things will continue as they are. Definately a big thank you for the continued vision and persistence. I'm staying aboard this ship just to see where it's going. :)- Melv.

We feel like we are providing a great service, yet most of the people think that we should not only give away our stuff for nearly free, but it needs to defy the laws of physics and make their games for them all at the same time. We are big boys and we signed up for this job, but sometimes we just want to scream.
Thanks.

People take many things for granted, Microwave ovens, satellite TV, clean running water. When it's already here, it's easy to be critical and want the next thing.
I personally couldn't imagine 1 year away from the GG web, the resources and the community and I've got a life!
Great work, great site, great guys, great code.
Nuff said.

Yep, thanks guys. It's a blast making things for such a high-fallutin' engine. I only hope soon we're able to publish a game (TZ) and that I can come out to have a beer with you guys. :)-Eric

I want to also say a big thanks too. Not to sound like a fan boy but having the engine has changed my outlook on life. I can't thank you guys enough. I also want to thank Tim Gift. Back when GG was just starting he took the time to help me with T1 scripting. I had just started going back to school and his kindness helped me to keep at it. Now although i'm no expert I now have some programming experience.Coz

Especially when GG staff decide to change the lisence and got nothing but complaints on the form about how the lisence got more restrictive (and what a nice change too.. some people just don't see it).
Also releasing TSE.. Very nice, and very cheap. I guess its hard to see that developing an engine like TSE would cost millions of dollars and selling it for a 250 dollars ( god forbid ) would be a deal. :)
Ok, sorry for the rant. Thanks guys.

Hahaha, jeff you can start with my game :). Here is what I would like .... Joking of course. I would also like to pass along my graditute to all the GG people for all the work they do. Thanks GG! As a noob TGE designer I'm finding your docs (along with Ken Finney's book) an invaluable resource!

I would also like to add to this post and thank everyone who has worked hard to create this vast community for all of us who are just starting or are not fortunate enough to have millions at our disposal. GarageGames has taught me how to develop video games as well as how to work with a team to get a game working. The docs have proven themselves to be an inexplicably valuable resource to help me do this. Along with thanking the GG team, I would also like to thank all those who have dedicated much time and work toward making improvements to TGE and making it better and esier to use to everyone. Thanks a million,
-Barzahd

I can't believe I never saw this thread. I definitely have to give a big "Thank You" to Garage Games. My team used your engine for our final project in school (allowing me to be the first person in my family to graduate college). Also, specifically due to my experience with TGE, I was hired as a programmer recently. I gave up everything in my life (friends, fiance, a comfy life) to go to school to become a game developer, and now I'm living my dream partly due to you guys! Thanks.
