Mirrors

Okay, I'm looking for a way to make the mirrors in interiors (dif objects) not so clean. I have never looked into a mirror and seen a perfect reflection. What I want to do is be able to place a transparent texture over the reflection to give the appearnce of a dirty mirror. How is this done? Any help is greatly appreciated.

You could also tweak the mirror surface rendering to do a tranparent poly over the mirror.
