Precompiled scripts are a bummer

I'm quite disappointed in having purchased ThinkTanks with the intentions of
making some entertaining mod ideas come to life. I discovered to my chagrin that,
just like the demo, the game had been distributed without any .cs files that weren't
precompiled .cs.dso files. This has made the struggle to create mods needlessly
difficult. I appreciate the work that the developer(s) has/have put into this game,
but please, for the sake of the burgeoning development community I ask you to weigh
the loss of allowing people to potentially abuse your hard work with the potentially
greater gains that could be had if great games like ThinkTanks were a little more
accessible to modding enthusiasts, allowing the overworked gamemaker to benefit
from freely contributed code from the community.
Just my two cents. Sorry for the long-winded post =)

Thank you. It is really quite refreshing to see this kind of response (and with a quickness too ;). This is a terrific game and I hope to see many more in the future. =)

Ya...just wish there were a few more. A few from the client side wouldn't hurt.Devestator

we will relent. I have uploaded a few of the .cs scripts here.
Note that this is officially unsupported. If you break your build, please don't send us support requests about fixing it.
As we want to ensure a quality experience for new players, we ask that if you use these scripts, and you put up a Mod server, you prepend the server name with MOD so that people are alerted to the possibility of wackiness.
Note that fopr security reasons, we cannot release all the scripts. We have included in the pack the ones we feel comfortable releasing.
Discussion of this release should be moved to the modding forums over on PlanetThinkTanks
Have Fun!
