You will find that there is a great deal of acceptance for girls/women in this community, but there are also a small but vocal band of degenerates that will acquaint you with all of the possible female-oriented insults in the game. Seems like the vast majority of "problem-children" do not play Scrum. we have a pretty great community of friends and will welcome you with open arms.
What name will you be using in the game and what times will you be playing? (I hope to see you in the evening USA East coast time)
Be sure to visitt Planet ThinkTanks at the url joe listed above. The GG forum is great for GG, but the PTT forum is only targeted toward Think Tanks, AND it is moderated so if there are any degenerates posting vile things, the thread gets cleaned up.... very nice.
Also, there are a number of "moderated" online scrum games to be found. These are nice too because the owner of the server will boot anyone who is being a degenerate or overly rude. Look for any server with the name "Slug" in it (usually only found around 9:00PM EST and later). Slug games are run by a wonderful man named "Slugthog", his server feels like a safe haven because he will not tolerate anyone being rude, especially toward women.
Also look for a server (name escapes me) where you see -AZ- playing. He is also good about moderating and making sure there is a good vibe in the game. There are probably more, but not that I have seen.
