Team switching problem???

I would just like to know why it is that after I start Think Tanks and pick a color to enter on in say team scrum, then say I want to change sides to make it even and it won't let me pick the color anymore until I restart the game? It does this every time. I don't understand why it does this. I've already reinstalled, I've even went so far as to reinstall Windows and still got the same problem on a fresh system, any suggestions or comments would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
