Where can we get this new TGE logo?

by John Vanderbeck · in Torque Game Engine · 03/15/2004 (6:54 pm) · 17 replies

The new license calls for a TGE logo that must be displayed when using the Indie license. So where can we get that logo please?

I've always used the garage games logo and I thought I saw a logo image used in one torque demo that looks almost exactly like the 3D logo in .dts that comes with the stock TGE 1.2, but cannot seem to find it which I believe they are refering to. I'm attempting to track down the logo image now.

John, it's used in the TGE demo (aka New Demo Build from a while back) when you're running in 'features discovery" mode :)

www.garagegames.com/images/site/torque_logo_small.gifhere is a good example.

Well my main reaosn for posting this was to see if there was some specific image or animation sequence that GarageGames intends.

No, as I already explained in the other thread in which you mentioned this. If there was a specific image it would have been mentioned in the license.

Look at what Mark does, not what I say.

We will have a logo kit available soon that will one or more "official" logos for indie licensees to use.

Sorry Ben. I must have missed that. In almost every case like this the company has specific logos they want displayed, so I assumed that was the case here as well.

Thanks Mark. That would be wonderful.

Has this logo kit become available yet?

If not, where can we get an image to use for the Torque Engine logo required by the indie license?

Thanks,

Email me and I can send you a high res version of the Torque Logo that you can scale to your pleasure. Available in PSD, PNG, or Illustrator vector art.

Does that invitation apply to all Torque indie license holders?

Yes, though Alex is very busy. :) Don't flood him with requests if you can avoid it.

Well, is there any chance that they could be added to the Torque documentation section or somewhere else only Torque license holders would have access to?

I have a sneaking suspicion that a lot of us have been waiting to get our hands on a large TGE logo. ;)
