dts config files?

OK this is a call out to those few who are understanding the max exporter. I was wondering if whomever could give a few examples of what should be in the various config files. ie lets say I make a static object so the .cfg file need to have certain elements always exported and some element never exported. . .BUT if you make an animated turrent or a vehicle for that matter. . the .cfg file should be slightly different. I know each model really depends on each game but could one of you all give the rest of us a couple examples of the various .cfg files, with what should be in them, so we can get a better grasp of how to organize the heiarchies. . .am I making sence?
