Dear Torque colaborators,

Thanks for Helping me. I'm a beginner and I don't know what to do to make the Height tool work correctly like the tutorial. I imagine is something related to position.

What should I do to sove this, Since when I'm using the tool, I got a Very long hole in space And the result doesn't match the tutorial.

I'm trying to make a lake.

Thanks for a while.

Which tutorial?

Why don't you use the Grab tool, or the Raise and Lower tools instead of the Set Height tool?

Hi,

I tought this possibility, but any time I need to make a deeper lake I have problem. In this case I was following the tutorial and I would like to learn the tools.

Do you have an idea Why I was getting that problem?

Thanks.

What is "the tutorial?" Seriously, I have no idea which tutorial you're talking about....

There is no problem with Set Height - it does exactly what it says it does. You can change the height to which it sets the terrain to by adjusting the Height number on the end of the tool bar to the right of the Softness adjustment.

What problem do you have with the Grab Terrain tool? It works no matter how far you want to drag. Again, you adjust brush Size, Pressure, and Softness using the fields on the toolbar.

Hi,

I got in doubt, because the video tutorial https://vimeo.com/album/223321
Part 2 there's a small lake made with this tool. But when I try to do the same way The tool made a hole that arrives at the gorund plane (Gray color). In the video tutorial it doesn't happening the same.

The deep keep the brown texture. (Land texture).

I'll try another things. But thanks for returning.

Regards,

Rangel.
