Arteria3D may have a free rigged and animated human model in collada format as they sometimes give away the odd freebie.

Then blendswap have numerous free models for blender so you may need to put it into blender and export it as a collada. One has to be somewhat cautious with models from blendswap as there are quite a few that have been stolen and placed there and may cause problems if used in a game.

Mr Necturus may have a freebie as well, possibly worth checking out as his models tend to be of several formats.
