No, this is not specifically for those with gray/thinning hair...

Just though I'd throw out this challenge for some of the serious battlemoders out there, as there has been some discussion regarding who's hot and who's not. To become a member, play regular Battlemode and try to break a score of 40, then post your screengrab on this thread (go to Uploadit for easy image-hosting).

The only rules are that you 1) don't change the numbers in a graphics program and 2) use the TT default battle settings (no creating a game of your own with all bronze bots). You can play on or- off-line, but again, use the TT defaults and the original game settings. The rules rely heavily on your own honor, but most of us know who is worthy enough to end up on this thread anyway.

Good luck!

Show, don't tell, Cadc! Front the screenie, let's see your "40".

TT solo scores are another affair, this thread is for regular 15-minute battlemode only.

The easiest way is to press the printscreen key (prtscn on my computer) and then past it into an image program.

No, you push it, and paste it in paint/ms word/ps pro/anything else. And I accept the challenge, and will be trying!

Stealth: CTRL + P for PC. This will save the screenshot as a PNG file in your ThinkTanks folder.

After pushing print screen, go to "paint" and paste in the folder. Print screen is just like copy, or cut.

SteAlth

Use Window's Paint program instead of Word and you will get much better results.

Do the following:

- Press and near the end of the game. The screen will copy onto your clipboard.
- Immediately quit TT.
- Go to the Windows Start button and launch Paint
(Paint's location in the Start menu depends upon your version of Windows,
try Accessories).
- Once Paint is open, go to Edit and down to Paste
(Paint is going to ask you something about expanding the size of the image area
or something like that.) Answer Yes.
- Now you can save the file as a JPEG (.jpg) so that you can post it on the forum.

Hope this helps.

Hey Chan,

No fair beating up on the members of Kiss, especially when they're not in makeup. (Kiss Tank Skin anyone?)

That's a good score, no doubt, but I'd prefer keeping things simple here (regular battlemode setting). The scoring in regular battlemode is hard to compare to team battlemode. A score in regular battlemode represents net kills (# of your kills minus # of times you are killed) while the team score for a single-player team in team battlemode represents the gross total number of kills for that player. Sorry to be a stickler, but delete the post and try it again in regular battlemode... I'm sure with your skills that you would have no trouble in breaking 40.

Good luck,
LC50

Stealth, if you'd like me to post your screengrab, just email it to me (lc50tank@yahoo.com). I can reduce the file size and post it for you... you're inadvertently cluttering the thread with posting questions.

Thank you LC50, I appreciate the gesture and apologize for
cluttering up the thread with questions. I really want to
learn how to do this myself and appreciate all the guidance
and support you all have given me.

If someone could please explain to me how to reduce the file
size, I'd really appreciate it. I don't want to clutter up
this thread any more, so I'll start up a new one that will
hopefully not only benefit me, but many others who are in the
same boat as I in the future.

Thanks again,

SteAlth

NP Stealth. Just open the jpg in a graphics program and reduce the resolution of the file, but not so much that the text becomes blocky (we still want to read the numbers after all). Or you could just cut out the scoreboard and save it as its own jpg file. Some graphics programs will do all of this, just read the help files of whatever program you have. You may not be able to do this with Paint. Or, just email it to me and I'll do it and send it back to you resized.

LC:

Post deleted. In just battlemode, I'm stuck at 38 and the clock starts ticking...

Was going to do Spinal Tap but thought it was too obscure for the younger ones.
