how many IFL textures for one DTS ?

hello to all you merry men ,
well , its guess what this guy is trying to ask time again .
*I know that paraphrasemanship isnt you guys' forte , i apologize .
I havent had any luck at trying to play more than one different IFL for a given model .
meaning , different IFLs to different polygons , say , a cube with 3 different IFL materials , 1 to front , 1 to back , one which wraps around the cube . only one will play , the last one referenced in the .cs .
So , I wonder this , Is there a limit or am I scripting it wrong in the CS ..OR ...

*I havent actually managed to play the one which wraps around the cube . I want it make the tracks appear to move around on my cool tracked vehicle, etc .
