TGB Adventure Kit

#1 I believe the intent when the Adventure Kit went open source was to make it work with T2D MIT, however the port was never completed. That doesn't mean someone can't fork it and continue to work on it though.

I am not positive if it works out of the box with 1.8. Personally, I wouldn't buy the old engine just to use this kit though.

#2 All of the art for the Adventure Kit have been ported to T2D assets, though they are not complete. There is a donation button on the repo page. I'm sure if people were to donate, Tom or one of his guys will port it fully to T2D MIT. Even more so, if enough donations roll in to prove the work is worth it, he might do the same for Torsion.

Regardless, only minimal work has been done to port to T2D MIT. All of the images have been ported to T2D asset format. However, none of the particles or animations have been rebuilt. None of the scripts or physics have been updated to work with the latest T2D MIT systems.

My best guess is it would take about a week to fully port the kit, if you know both TGB and T2D MIT. That's still a better approach than using the old TGB. Mike's right on that point.

#3 I have the old engine still, and it does work with that. However the fork out there for T2D MIT is only the images at the moment. It's on my to-do list as a project I'm involved with will need some of it. When I have time to do that though...... is beyond me.

#4 Ok I see I don't have to buy but I need version 1.8 is it still for sale
