Is Torsion still supported?

by Vincent Ellis · in Torsion · 03/23/2014 (5:34 pm) · 5 replies

I have sent many emails to the authors and no one ever replies. These forums are also pretty much dead. Does the company behind Torsion still offers any kind of support?

Torsion is basically in cruise control. The last I heard, there were no planned updates. Are you having some kind of problem?

I just didn't want to spend money on software that will be abandoned or won't get any new features/bugs fixed. I find it easier to save the money and use Sublime/Netbeans with a few plugins like other in the community are doing.

Another possible option might be this

There's also TorqueDev. That was actually my preferred TorqueScript IDE for a while until Torsion addressed some usability and interface things I didn't like.
