Looking for a programmer and artist

by Kory Imaginism · in Jobs · 12/31/2013 (8:11 am) · 5 replies

I had a rough 2013 but things in 2014 should be much better. Now I would like to get things back moving with a project or two. Currently I'm looking for a programmer and an artist.

I had both a programmer and artist but due to issues I'm now looking for both.
The last programmer had to move on due to personal issues on my behave with the holidays and whatnot.
The artist I have no idea what happen to him. It's been pretty close to a month since I've heard anything and after a number of emails sent with NO reply, I guess I'm being force to look for another one.

If anyone is interested please sent me an email to jstanleynwo@yahoo.com.

These positions will be paid but the work must be done right. I've had issues in the past were some work wasn't done exactly to the expectations.

What we are looking for:

Programmer
* good communication skills
* has a strong knowledge of T3D, and TS scripting
* Good understanding of the core C++ in T3D
---
I can present a list of things that need to be done upon request.

Artist
* good communication skills
* good understand of the art pipeline in T3D
* can do environment art such as buildings, houses, etc...
* can do character modelling. Also can produce the proper maps
* can do rigging and animations

As mention above if interested please sent an email to jstanleynwo@yahoo.com

Thanks

Hey Everyone,

Just a note that I am the artist that Kory has not heard from in a while. The issue is that he has a great idea and honestly, I ran into issues trying to make what he needs happen in a timely manner. There are other issues in the mix but they don't matter as it pertains to providing what Kory needs.

I want to put this out in a public forum that Kory will get a full refund ($62.50) for his down-payment and he is FREE to use the basic models that I have sent to him (if he desires). I wish you the best of luck with your project and I am sorry.

I want to also apologize to Kory openly as well, for NOT being a positive asset for his project. I really do think you have some GREAT ideas and I wish you the best of luck. I am very sorry for overestimating my own ideas and abilities and I am very sorry that I could not provide what you required. You will get a full refund for the money you paid and I hope we can remain friends. Good luck and I hope 2014 grants you some positive progress in your game development.

One more thing, Kory is GREAT to work with. His ideas and concepts are NOT impossible. I just way overestimated MY skill-set and unfortunately, he has been left waiting. Please do NOT read too much into this. His ideas are sound I encourage any good T3D artist to step up. Chances are you could manage to do what I could not.

Thanks Ron, whenever you get the refund out. Please let me know via email. I'll try to recover the money once paypal notify me. Hopefully they'll allow me to put the money back on to my card rather than to sit in my paypal account.

Thanks
