Torque 3D Professional Crashing

Hi All

I just upgraded my system to a new one, went to my account and downloaded Torque 3D Professional 1.1 tries to run it and it crashes when trying to run the demos. I am running Windows 8.1 professional with a Nvidia GeForce gt620, can someone tell me whats going on.

I haven't used Torque in a while.

Check out the guide on Installing DirectX 9.0c as Torque 3D currently only supports Direct3D9. There are other linked sections from that same page for when you need to also download and install the DirectX 9 SDKs if you want to be able to successfully compile and build the engine source code.

I also suggest checking out the open source repository for Torque 3D as it's vastly improved upon a lot since T3D v1.2 much less v1.1.

Make sure that it's not installed inside Program Files.
