I am a game artist looking to work in the game field.
I was pulled into the Aerospace industry and worked as an engineer and was doing that for 4 years.
Now I would like to go back to my art side as the other job ended.
If your a game company looking for a person who can model, texture, animate, rigg, and do programming on a mid level experience, then let me know. I can solve problems and work very well with others. Even though I have not been working as an artist I have spent most of my time staying with the technology.
Below I am outlining my skills:
1. Modeling- I can model organic or hard surfaces. I use Zbrush and Softimage mainly however I have 3DS Max and Maya skills as well.
2. Animation - I am good with rigging and editing existing animation. I use Motionbuilder and can transfer animation data from one charcter to another.
3. Texture/UV - I can do structures and create various textures using both Zbrush and photoshop. I also can uv unwrap nearly any model. I use UVLayout for creating good seamless textures.
4. Programming - I am a mid level programmer with knowledge in C and C++ as well as some scripting languages. I have Torque tools for scripting as well as Visual Studio. I have compiled T3D on several occasions.
