Link to Updated GUI tutorial

Hello everybody, I've been looking for a tutorial on working with/building GUI's in torque 2D for some time now, and I've yet to make headway. I've seen people requesting tutorials on this, however they always get redirected to one of the old tutorials on using the GUI builder from the Pre-MIT licence days of torque, or they offer cryptic/partial information regarding the topic. I've had luck posting on here before with you fine folk, so I'm hoping for more of the same.

TLDR: I would like a link to an UPDATED tutorial for use with Torque 2D on the Open-Source licence.

ALSO: Can anyone give their insight as to why one of the most important aspects of designing any game - the UI - is the most arcane and cryptic knowledge one can fathom in torque? I've been trying to learn how to work with GUI's since 2010, and now I am here. This may be due in part somehow to my own ineptitude, but I feel I'd be shortchanging myself to declare that as the only reason I've not picked up on it.

Current status of GUI docs

My latest comment on GUI docs.

What is boils down to is that no one has written a solid GUI guide or updated an old one, yet. Good doc writers are smaller in number than programmers or artists. Right now folks are waiting on the docs to show up. Someone has to spring up from the abyss and write them, then get showered in praise.

This new thread will probably be a very good resources for building new GUI documentation: Learning the GUI. Since it's stickied, it will always be at the top of the forum. Hopefully some kind soul will use that information to create some good docs on the T2D MIT wiki.
