Spriteworks 2 crashing when importing a .dae file

Hey, I'm having a problem with Spriteworks 2. When I first got it I was able to import .dae file with no problems but now whenever I try the program just crashes while importing. It's kind of important I get this fixed so any help anyone might be able to give me is really appreciated. I will try and provide any other information if people need it.
