FMOD: Calling .stop(fadeout value) doesn't fadeout

Hey guys.
Title says it all really - I'm unable to get a sound to fadeout at the moment. Anyone?

Edit:
Wait, the libraries I had used will not place a sound in a 3D position if it is stereo. I don't know about fadeout.

I know some libraries wont' fadeout a sound that is stereo. I don't know about FMOD, but maybe try a mono version of the sound.Edit:
