Wind Emitters

Hi folks, has anyone got any tips for getting the wind emitter to work?

I have loaded up a vertext painted model via the forest editor - placed a wind emitter and nothing.... Ive even tried loading up the default tree via the forest editor again and nothing. Ive been through the documentation and followed various resources. I've even created a fresh level and placed the default tree and a wind emitter and nothing......

Any clues folks?

You need to enter the values in the forest editor how the shape is affected by each effect, like trunk bend scale and so on.

Cheers Duion, yep tried all that - just motionless trees.

Tim, you can get grass and precipitation to work with the wind. Never tried it on trees, but I can't imagine what's wrong.

Cheers Dan, apparently it should work with the default tree which I am using - plus also have a load of Ron's trees in there too but its not happening - im sure there is something really obvious that I'm missing but I'll be dammed if i can see it.

Well, that's an easy fix. I'm sure one of you guys (probably Vince) will write it into Omni. As long as you've got it sorted, that's what counts.

... er ... what was the answer that resulted in a sigh?

Wind works fine on my custom trees.
