I wish GarageGames continued ThinkTanks....

If only GarageGames continued ThinkTanks, I think it would be great because they could give updates to it every so often. Run more servers. The game is still going though. Even Planet ThinkTanks 2 is: http://www.planetthinktanks2.com/

I play and I enjoy the game. GarageGames should do something I think.....

    GarageGames does not own ThinkTanks. When InstantAction was shut down, IAC retained the rights to most of the games. This included ThinkTanks. When the new GarageGames, LLC was started up, we only acquired the rights to the GarageGames name, Torque engines, and this website. Thus, we cannot release any updates.

    Could GarageGames get the rights or would they have to purchase the rights?

    They would have to be purchased from IAC.

    That I don't know. I don't believe we have ever inquired, as it didn't fit our direction and goals. GG isn't the only organization that could try this. It will boil down to money and contacts. If another group or person wants to purchase the rights, I'm sure they would have as good of a chance as GG.
