Hello GarageGames employees, I want to use Torque 3D can create quality graphics? For example, as shown below;

Torque3D can do whatever you make it do. The question is can you create that quality graphics? The engine is just the pencil it takes an artist to do the painting.

Edit: Short answer "yes".

I don't think I see anything in those scfrenshots it's impossible to do in Torque. Just depends how good your artists are and how long you want to spend tweaking PostFX. May even need some custom PostFX, I've never tried to achieve a triple-A look with them.

and there is alot more possible,
just depends on resource management and your artists

especially since you would need well made lod stages for your models
you see if your question is can T3D do triple-A
yes it can
but it depends on your developement team
to achieve the look as evrything that would be needed is already there
take a look at the soldier model that comes with t3d
it has multiple lod stages
at the end your whole world would need to have lod stages
and well placed geometry along with custom postFx´s

take for example the radar in the image, that can be achieved aswell
takes just some time to either port a resource or to create your own implementation

anyways no idea why i had to write a novel
but it makes me smile to read questions like those ;)

Sure you can do that, but you have to remember that the things there are a work of professionals and not of just one, but many, who work full time and get paid. So if you can afford that somehow, scenes like this should be possible. To be honest, there are some limits in the engine, but if you can afford the first thing, you should be able to fix the drawbacks on the engine as well.

You can check the list of the costs of modern computergames to get an idea how much is spend in there to make it that good, here is a list of the most expensive computer games:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_most_expensive_video_games_to_develop
So as you can see the costs can even go over 100 million dollar for one game.

The question is, "can you create quality graphics?" If you can, then T3D can render them.

Yes you can. You just need a team of people great artist first, and next some good programmers to tweak and create custom FX's. Unless you have a good knowledge in both of those areas or a team, you'll be shelling out alot of money.
