Forums date format

The date format of the forum is not localized and always use US format.
Unless i missed something i did not see any way to change that, this is really annoying for foreign users.

I'm personally quite fond of the ISO 8601 format because conforms to major-minor-revision format. :)

We don't have an option available to change the format. As the site is a custom job this would likely only be something that would change should we ever get to the point where migrating the site to an off the shelf solution becomes feasible.

Believe me I understand the annoyance with differing date formats. I run into that myself with forums and software we use from companies based overseas. It's just the unfortunate reality currently.

The only thing of note I've found on March 19th was one of the last battles of the Civil War that led to the end of the war a month or two later.

Also, it's scary how similar looking that guy is to me.
