FPS genre only? Or can others be made?

Was just wandering if i could make a RPG/INDIE based game with this engine? or is it only for FPS. If it is only FPS as it is can i alter to include what is needed to make an RPG based game? Cheers.

    You have access to the source so you can pretty much do whatever you like. Check out some of the tutorials under documentation and guides (these are located under the engine tabs.

    You will see, most styles of games are really not that hard to make. Check out Kevin's latest blog.... He may just have an add on that would be perfect for you... www.garagegames.com/community/blogs/view/22313

    I'm going to point out that you can make just about any genre of game with just about any engine out there. Yes, you can use the Unreal Engine to make a RPG. Or a RTS game. You can use Unity, Sauerbraten, Source, Torque, or just about any other engine. The question is, can you make the game you want to make? If the answer is yes, then pick the tool that suits you best and rock on.

    We already have a really great tutorial that gets you going on creating a RTS or dungeon crawler. I wrote the first pass, but Richard took a lot of time to add new content and polish it up. I highly recommend the doc, now that Richard has fixed it up.
